Rum or Thai Dance is the dance with lyric and melody without story. Rum aims to show the beauty of dance through the movement of dancers which uses hands and arms mainly. There are three types of Rum divided by the number of dancers; solo is to show the high skill of dance, duo always comes in the form of fighting dance without lyric such as sword dance, or to show the elegant costumes with full lyric, and Rum in group is for folk dance such as farmer dance.
